Philippe BONNY, 42 years of age, Ph.D. in physics from the French Université d'ORSAY and Specialized Master in competitive intelligence from ESIEE/CCIP (Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry), previously led the competitive intelligence and knowledge management department of the consulting company EDIFIXIO, and was for 6 years in charge of information processing services at LAFARGE Group (worldwide leader in the manufacture of building materials). Previously he worked as an engineer at the French National office of aerospace research (ONERA).
Alain GARNIER, 36 years of age, graduate engineer of the IIE (French institute of corporate data processing) in 1993. At ERLI (SPSS-Lexiquest) he completed his research on “semantic systems for automatic extraction”. He then joined EDS (Electronic Data Systems) in Dallas in 1994, and then the software house publisher MADICIA, a subsidiary of QUESTEL.ORBIT (part of the FRANCE TELECOM Group), until 1996. In 1996 he launched ARISEM, a software house specializing in semantic information processing, which became the leader in the field of competitive intelligence, and was resold to the THALES Group in 2004.
